Welcoming Baba Marta For the third year in a row, the White Swallow 2018 Community Center held its initiative to welcome Baba Marta, this year she came to the children in the Mir kindergarten. With a basket full of martenitsas, she decorated each child, from the Mir kindergarten in the town of Dulovo and the village of Poroino, with a white and red horse, so that she would be healthy, ruddy and laughing. The children cheered Baba Mara with verses and songs about the martenitsas, and she told them a story about her changeable temperament, why she is now smiling, now angry.

Celebration on the occasion of Baba Marta On 01.03.2020 from 10:00 The White Swallow - 2018 Community Center together with Kaolin EAD organizes a citywide celebration, for children and adults, to welcome Baba Marta. The children took part in a story about Pijo and Penda, twisted martenitsas from white and red woolen thread and tied them to their relatives for health. On a loom, more than 15 children wove a red and white panel. The children's microphone was provided for poems and songs about Baba Marta. More than 50 children gathered and had fun together in welcoming Baba Marta. The initiative is with the financial support of Kaolin EAD.

First performance of the Folk Dance Group "Pendari" at the Community Center "White Swallow - 2018" On July 5-9, the Pendari Folk Dance Group at the White Swallow - 2018 Community Center had its first performance and it was at the Ohrid Necklace International Festival, which took place in Macedonia.

Christmas card competition The White Swallow - 2018 Community Center announces a Christmas Card Competition, regardless of the technique that will be used. The competition is for participants of all ages. The competition is not territorially limited. All received cards will be uploaded to the page of The White Swallow - 2018 Community Center on Facebook and the cards will be sent to a social home. The aim of the competition is to create a Christmas mood first for the participants, then for all who visit the Chitalishte website and last but not least for those who will receive Christmas cards.
