Celebration on the occasion of Baba Marta
On 01.03.2020 from 10:00 The White Swallow - 2018 Community Center together with Kaolin EAD organizes a citywide celebration, for children and adults, to welcome Baba Marta. The children took part in a story about Pijo and Penda, twisted martenitsas from white and red woolen thread and tied them to their relatives for health. On a loom, more than 15 children wove a red and white panel. The children's microphone was provided for poems and songs about Baba Marta. More than 50 children gathered and had fun together in welcoming Baba Marta. The initiative is with the financial support of Kaolin EAD.
